St Margarets Holiday Cottages in Tatworth South Somerset
St Margaret's Cottage and Rose Cottage are two holiday cottages located next door to each other in Tatwoth, South Somerset available as holiday lets on a weekly basis in the summer and for short breaks in the winter.
Both cottages are from the 1880's and are positioned in the oldest part of Tatworth which is St Margaret's Lane.
St Margaret's Cottage (shown in large picture) is an old coach house which was converted to a dwelling in the 1880s. Rose Cottage (shown in smaller picture) was originally three dwelling houses which have been converted to a single dwelling around a 100 years ago.
St Margaret's Cottage is a traditional 19c holiday cottage and has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and very ample living space, a pretty courtyard at the back and space to keep your car off road.
Rose Cottage is a period holiday cottage with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen diner and a cosy lounge with woodburner. A pretty garden at the front and off street parking.

There is a pub in walking distance from the cottages, Ye Olde Poppe Inn shown above which is a lovely thatched pub and is a short walk.There is also a convenient shop in the village five minutes walk away from the cottages.
There are numerous restaurants just a couple of miles away in Chardor. If you want to travel further afield, the famous 'River Cottage is just 5 miles away in Axminster.
There are many places to visit during your holiday from stately homes such as nearby Forde Abbey and Barrington Court, family attractions such as the Seaton Tram and Donkey Sanctuary, seaside locations such as Lyme Regis, Beer and West Bay, so it makes an excellent touring base for your holiday.

Both Cottages are located in St Margaret's Lane in Tatworth which is a village 2 miles south of Chard There is easy access from both the M5 and A303. Tatworth lies in the most southerly tip of South Somerset with the borders of Dorset and Devon lying within two miles. It is a lovely location in the south west which serves as a great touring base.
